Windshields contain microscopic pores which trap and hold moisture and contaminants. When it rains your windshield wipers can exert up to 1000 pounds of pressure on your windshield causing these contaminants to be trapped in the glass pores to smear and impair your vision. VisionClear forms a molecular level silicone film which seals these pores, keeping the contaminants out and creating a clean water repellent surface. A VisionClear protected windshield surface causes the rain to bead up, allowing the wind shear to blow these rain droplets away as you drive down the road.
